21 September is International Day of Peace, dedicated by the UN to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. 21 September has particular significance this year, as 2014 marks the 100th year since the start of WW1.
Join us on Sunday 21 September 2014 for potentially the largest group meditation ever experienced in the World!
World Peace Meditation uses mobile App technology to promote peace and to bring all together on 21st September 2014 for a synchronised World Peace Meditation for people to build peace:
for their immediate environment
for the wider world community
Organised by the International Association for Human Values (IAHV) and the Art of Living Foundation, we have partnered with Peace One Day, Unify, One Giant Mind and others.
Why World Peace Meditation? There is huge conflict in the World today: wars, post-war conflict, and violence in families and communities.
The good news is there is growing awareness of the importance of inner peace as the basis for outer peace. The world cannot be peaceful if those within it are not peaceful. Outer peace and harmony depends on inner peace and harmony.
UN International Peace Day is a fantastic opportunity to get people to take action for world peace. Peace One Day are expecting over 500m people worldwide to be aware of 21 September 2014 as Peace Day!
2014 being the centenary year of the start of WW1, World Peace Meditation is an opportunity to mark this centenary in a novel and peaceful way which is directly relevant to the 21stCentury.
Will you join us? The more people who come to together to meditate at the same time, the stronger the benefits, for individuals and for society as a whole, as the beneficial effects ripple out into wider consciousness.
